تَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَى كِتَابِ كَيْفَ تَحْفَظُ الْقُرْآنَ

مُقَدِّمَةُ الْكِتَابِ

Introduction to the book

الْحَمْدُ للهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُ بِهِ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ وَنَسْتَهْدِيهِ

Praise be to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, seek His forgiveness, and seek His guidance.

وَنَعُوذُ باللهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا

We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own selves and from the badness of our deeds.

إِنَّهُ مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ

Indeed, whoever Allah guides, none can misguide him, and whoever He misguides, none can guide him.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

اللهُمَّ نَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ

O Allah, we ask You by every name that is Yours, which You have named Yourself with,

أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

Or taught to any of Your creation,
