تَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَى كِتَابِ مَوَاعِظِ الْإِمَامِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ

قَامَ بِجَمْعِهَا صَالِحُ أَحْمَدَ الشَّامِيُّ بِصَوْتِ إِسْلَامٍ عَادِلٍ

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

مُقَدِّمَةٌ

Introduction

الْحَمْدُ للهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ حَمْدًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, a praise that is good and blessed

وَأَفْضَلُ الصَّلَاةِ وَأَتَمُّ التَّسْلِيمِ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَبْعُوثِ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ

And the best of prayers and the most perfect of peace be upon our master Muhammad, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds

وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ

And upon all his family and his companions

وَبَعْدُ

And then

عِنْدَمَا يُذْكَرُ الْإِمَامُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ تَتَوَارَدُ إِلَى ذِهْنِ الْمُسْتَمِعِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ فِكْرَةٍ

When Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal is mentioned, more than one idea comes to the listener's mind

فَهُوَ إِمَامُ أَهْلِ السُّنَّةِ وَالْجَمَاعَةِ وَأَحَدُ أَئِمَّةِ الْمَذَاهِبِ الْفِقْهِيَّةِ الَّتِي انْتَشَرَتْ فِي طُولِ الْعَالَمِ الْإِسْلَامِيِّ وَعَرْضِهِ

For he is the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah and one of the imams of the schools of jurisprudence that spread throughout the length and breadth of the Islamic world
