فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ الْمُصْطَفَى عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ

So look at how the Chosen One, peace and blessings be upon him, was

يَغْتَنِمُ كُلَّ تِلْكَ الْفَضَائِلِ وَالْبَرَكَاتِ بِأَمْثَالِ هَذِهِ الدَّعَوَاتِ

taking advantage of all those virtues and blessings through such supplications

هَذَا دُعَاءُ الْأَنْوَارِ

This is the supplication of lights

قَالَ اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا

He said: O Allah, place in my heart a light

وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا

And in my sight a light

وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا

And in my hearing a light

وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا

And to my right a light

وَعَنْ يَسَارِي نُورًا

And to my left a light

وَفَوْقِي نُورًا

And above me a light

وَتَحْتِي نُورًا

And below me a light
