ذِكْرُ اللهِ حَيَاةُ الْأَرْوَاحِ

The remembrance of Allah is the life of the souls.

ذِكْرُ اللهِ نَعِيمُ الْحَيَاةِ

The remembrance of Allah is the bliss of life.

ذِكْرُ اللهِ عِبَادَةٌ هِيَ الَّتِي تُحْيِي الْقُلُوبَ

The remembrance of Allah is a form of worship that enlivens the hearts.

وَتَبْتَهِجُ بِهَا النُّفُوسُ

And by it, the souls rejoice.

أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.

مَنْ أَرَادَ طُمَأْنِينَةَ الْقَلْبِ وَسَعَادَةَ الْحَيَاةِ

Whoever desires the tranquility of the heart and the happiness of life,

وَأُنْسَ الْعَيْشِ

And the joy of living,

فَواللهِ لَنْ يَجِدَهُ إِلَّا فِي ظِلَالِ

Then by Allah, he will not find it except in the shadows of,

ذِكْرِ اللهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى

The remembrance of Allah, the Glorified and Exalted.

ذِكْرُ اللهِ عِبَادَةٌ مُسْتَقِلَّةٌ بِذَاتِهَا

The remembrance of Allah is a standalone act of worship.
