أَمَّا بَعْدُ يَا أَحِبَّتِي فِي اللهِ

To proceed, my loved ones in God

تَوَقَّفْنَا فِي الْخُطْبَةِ الْمَاضِيَةِ

We stopped in the previous sermon

عِنْدَ الْمَشْهَدِ الْأَوَّلِ مِنْ مَشَاهِدِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

at the first scene of the scenes of the Day of Resurrection

أَلَا وَهُوَ نَفْخَةُ الصَّعْقِ

which is the blast of the swoon

وَقُلْنَا إِنَّهُ عِنْدَ هَذِهِ النَّفْخَةِ

And we said that at this blast

يَنْهَدِمُ هَذَا الْكَوْنُ بِمَا فِيهِ

this universe with everything in it collapses

وَيَمُوتُ الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ

and all of creation dies

وَيَنْفَرِدُ اللهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى بِمُلْكِهِ

and God, glory be to Him and exalted be He, remains alone with His dominion

كَمَا كَانَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ الْخَلْقَ

as He was before He created the creation

وَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ

And to Him is the dominion on the day the Trumpet is blown
