اللهُ أَكْبَرُ

God is the Greatest

إِنَّهُ لَأَمْرٌ عَجِيبٌ

It is truly a strange matter

وَغَرِيبٌ

And it is odd

إِنَّهُ لَمَشْهَدٌ مَهِيبٌ

It is an awe-inspiring sight

رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي

A man walking

فِي أَرْضٍ صَحْرَاءَ

In a desert land

لَا مَاءَ فِيهَا

With no water in it

لَا أَصْوَاتَ فِيهَا

With no sounds in it

سُكُونٌ

Silence

ثُمَّ يَسْمَعُ صَوْتًا غَرِيبًا

Then he hears a strange sound
