• They are the best of those whom God created and fashioned.

  • They were the dictionaries of guidance for humanity.

  • How much of a lesson there was in their news for people, which was not a story

  • fabricated, they who delivered the books of heaven to mankind.

  • What is the sun compared to the light of prophecy, what is the moon?

  • So stand upon their traces and weigh with them

  • your deeds, seek inspiration from them for lessons.

  • They are the prophets of God and the honorable people,

  • and those who followed.

  • In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

  • For years, Noah, peace be upon him, was waiting for the sign

  • that God, Almighty and Majestic, had told him about.

  • Every period, he would go to see the oven

  • to see if something was starting to appear from it, water.

  • Until that day came,

  • and humanity on the face of the earth was on the verge of a great appointment

  • and a momentous event.

  • This event, Adam, peace be upon him, warned his children about

  • for ten centuries.

  • People were expecting such an event,

  • but no one knew that it would happen now.

  • The oven overflowed.

  • The water started to come out. Noah, peace be upon him, hurried and ordered the animals to board the ship.

  • The animals started to enter. God knows how many there were of the animals.

  • Not only the animals, even the birds.

  • It is said that this ship was three levels.

  • The lower level was for these animals, due to its size,

  • the two sheep, the two cows, and the horses,

  • and all the animals, a male and a female.

  • And the upper level was for these birds.

  • that which perhaps flew and returned once again

  • and the middle was for the people of faith

  • and among them is Noah, peace be upon him

  • and the people are looking

  • what is happening?

  • what is going on?

  • why did Noah board with him

  • his companions in that ship

  • and boarded these animals

  • the crowd stood and watched

  • what is wrong with you

  • have you gone mad? the land is dry

  • and they boarded a ship

  • in which there is no

  • no rain

  • and no sea

  • and the people

  • are astonished by what Noah, peace be upon him, is doing

  • until

  • when came

  • our command

  • we said load into it of each pair two

  • we said load into it of each pair two and your family

  • and your family except those for whom the word has already passed

  • and whoever believed, and none believed with him except a few

  • and he said to the people of faith, board it

  • in the name of Allah, say in the name of Allah while you are boarding

  • and he said, board it, in the name of Allah

  • in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage

  • indeed my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful

  • When they boarded the ship while people were watching

  • Suddenly, the promise of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, began

  • The sky began to rain, not ordinary rain

  • Heavy rain, have you seen a bucket

  • The bucket that you pour onto the ground, how does the water come down

  • You see, that is how the rain was coming down from the sky

  • Like a waterfall

  • So We opened the gates of the sky

  • As if the sky became a door and opened up

  • So We opened the gates of the sky with pouring water

  • And not just from above, but from below

  • And We caused the earth to burst forth with springs

  • You see the scene is frightening, I swear to Allah

  • Don't tell me a tsunami

  • Don't tell me heavy rain and people started drowning

  • Don't tell me this is an ordinary flood

  • This flood has only happened on the face of the earth once, in the time of Noah

  • The sky opened, the water is pouring down

  • Pouring, pouring

  • And the earth burst forth

  • So We opened the gates of the sky with pouring water

  • And We caused the earth to burst forth with springs

  • So the waters met for a matter already ordained

  • And We carried him

  • And the ark rose

  • And We carried him on a structure of planks

  • And nails

  • How great was the salvation on that day

  • And the people, imagine now the scene of the people

  • The people started running

  • At first, people were taking shelter in their homes

  • from the rain

  • they thought their homes would protect them

  • when the water started to rise

  • they climbed onto their houses

  • when they saw that the water would rise even over their houses

  • they started running

  • and screaming and shouting

  • where would they go?

  • they go to the mountains

  • everyone started heading to the mountains

  • whoever drowned, drowned

  • whoever did not make it, did not make it

  • and everyone started running where? To the mountains, to the point that some of them left their children behind

  • did not make it

  • and a mother leaves her child to drown while she flees

  • she wants to run to save herself

  • and it sails with them

  • and it sails with them through waves

  • the height of the waves on that day

  • was like the height of mountains, it looked like a mountain

  • you see a terrifying sight

  • by God, it is horrifying

  • and no one is being saved except this ship

  • and the people are shouting and screaming

  • and it sails with them through waves like mountains

  • and Noah at that moment

  • fatherhood overcame him

  • immediately he asked about his children

  • he asked about Ham

  • And Sam,

  • And Japheth, where is your brother?

  • Where is your brother?

  • Who is their brother?

  • O Canaan,

  • He said, where is your brother?

  • They said, he did not board with us, O my father.

  • He did not come with us, and he knows,

  • That he did not believe in Him.

  • So he climbed onto the ship searching for him.

  • Searching for whom?

  • Searching for his son, while the people are sitting drowning.

  • And the people are screaming,

  • And the people are running to the mountains.

  • And he goes around looking for his son.

  • O my son, O my son, where are you?

  • Imagine Noah,

  • God said, no.

  • Except for those against whom the decree has already passed.

  • It is over, the decree has already passed against him.

  • It is over, O Noah.

  • He stood up calling his son.

  • O my son, O my son, he saw him.

  • The boy, the day he saw his father,

  • And the boy is running, where is he going?

  • He is going in the direction of the mountain.

  • O my son,

  • O my son,

  • Board with us,

  • He did not know.

  • He does not manage to board

  • But the fatherhood

  • Whatever his son was

  • Oh my son

  • Board with us

  • And do not be

  • With the disbelievers

  • He said perhaps my son

  • Was concealing faith

  • Perhaps there is in him an atom of faith

  • Perhaps there is in him something of human nature

  • Remained

  • Perhaps Allah will accept him

  • And he calls out oh my son come oh my son board oh my son board

  • Even though the matter was final and disconnected

  • He said I will betake myself to a mountain

  • Oh my father you see a mountain over there I will go take shelter in it

  • I will betake myself to a mountain that will protect me from the water

  • Noah replied to him

  • He said oh my son there is no protector today

  • There is no protector today from the decree of Allah except whom He has shown mercy

  • Oh my son save yourself

  • This is the punishment of Allah this is not just water

  • This is a penalty that has descended there is no protector today from the decree of Allah except whom He has shown mercy

  • And the son runs to the mountain and the father calls out

  • Until the water rose higher than the peaks of the mountains

  • And the son drowned in front of his father

  • And the wave came between them

  • And the wave came between them

  • And he was among the drowned

  • It is a tragedy for Noah, peace be upon him.

  • But this is the way of Allah.

  • Faith and disbelief separate the son from his father.

  • And the ark sailed for a time,

  • Amidst those crashing waves and the rain

  • Which continued to fall for forty days.

  • Who delivered the books of heaven to mankind?

  • What is the sun compared to the light of prophethood?

  • What is the moon?

  • So stand upon their traces.

  • The city disappeared with everyone in it, even the mountains disappeared.

  • And the water became higher than the mountains,

  • And the rain was falling,

  • And Noah's ark was covered,

  • And the people of faith praise Allah, the Almighty and Majestic.

  • So when you and those with you have settled on the ship,

  • Say, 'Praise be to Allah.'

  • Praise be to Allah who saved us from the wrongdoing people.

  • You see that the flood covered all the people of the earth,

  • And nothing remained at that time except the people of that ship.

  • It is the supplication of whom? The supplication of Noah:

  • My Lord, do not leave on the earth

  • From the disbelievers any inhabitant.

  • Everyone drowned before their eyes,

  • And Noah, peace be upon him, remained,

  • And the people of faith in the ship call upon Allah, the Almighty and Majestic.

  • They remained for months in this ship after the rain stopped,

  • As it roamed the earth with them,

  • Until it reached Mecca,

  • Then it roamed the earth with them.

  • It flows where Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, commands it.

  • More than six months.

  • And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best of those who accommodate.'

  • They call upon Allah that this ship might anchor and land at a blessed landing place.

  • But the matter took a month, two months, and they had animals with them.

  • And sometimes some problems would arise with these animals.

  • And what they produce from them and what they eat from them.

  • It was a big problem for Noah and the people of faith.

  • But Allah protected them.

  • Until the time exceeded six months by ten days.

  • And suddenly Noah, peace be upon him, sends a dove.

  • He wants to be sure if there is a place on the earth.

  • Is the water receding on dry land?

  • So he would send a dove.

  • And the dove returned the first time, it returned with an olive leaf.

  • So he knew that until now,

  • There is no dry land on the earth.

  • Then the second time, then the third time.

  • He found mud on its foot.

  • So he knew that the land had begun to dry.

  • And the earth began to swallow its water.

  • And it was said, 'O earth, swallow your water.'

  • And 'O sky, withhold.'

  • And the water subsided.

  • And the matter was concluded.

  • And the ship came to rest.

  • It stopped.

  • At a mountain in Iraq.

  • Its name is Al-Judi.

  • And it rested upon Al-Judi.

  • And it was said, 'Away'

  • And it was said, 'Away with the wrongdoing people'

  • The people of faith rejoiced

  • That salvation was drawing near, deliverance

  • At that moment, they had not yet descended from the ship

  • But they rejoiced that the earth began to dry

  • And that the ship had come to rest

  • Meaning salvation had drawn near

  • Deliverance, the earth will dry little by little

  • And the people were happy

  • And in these moments

  • Noah, peace be upon him

  • Raised his hands to the sky

  • And said

  • And Noah called out to his Lord

  • At this moment

  • Six months

  • Do you know what Noah wants to ask for now?

  • He wants to ask for intercession

  • For his son

  • And Noah called out to his Lord

  • And said, 'My Lord'

  • Indeed, my son is of my family

  • You see, this is a part of me, O Lord

  • He remains my son

  • Indeed, my son is of my family

  • And indeed, Your promise is the truth

  • Yes, what You said is the truth, O Lord

  • Do not address Me regarding those who have done wrong, it is the truth

  • And indeed, none will believe from your people except those who have already believed, it is the truth

  • All of this is true, O Lord, but my son remains

  • Indeed, my son is of my family, and Your promise is the truth

  • And You are the wisest of the judges

  • God Almighty replied to Noah

  • He said, O Noah, he is not of your family

  • Indeed, it is an unrighteous deed

  • It is over, O Noah

  • Since he did not believe

  • Do not consider him your son

  • And do not consider him of your family

  • If it were the father

  • If it were the mother

  • If it were the son

  • If it were the uncle

  • If the love of people for us

  • That is it

  • Faith and disbelief

  • Separate people from one another

  • Indeed, he is not of your family

  • Indeed, it is an unrighteous deed

  • So do not ask Me that of which you have no knowledge

  • I advise you not to be among the ignorant

  • And suddenly Noah awakens and seeks forgiveness from God Almighty

  • And he continues to cry for long years because of this supplication

  • Only because of this request

  • Noah, peace be upon him, continued to cry

  • And seek forgiveness from God Almighty for long years

  • While saying, My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge

  • And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers

  • And suddenly, after a period of time, the earth dried up

  • Here Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, gave permission to Noah and those with him from among the people of faith

  • And those with him from among the animals and birds

  • To descend from the Ark

  • And return to the earth

  • Which did not have in it

  • Except for the people of faith

  • And the people of monotheism

  • It was said: O Noah

  • Descend in peace

  • Descend in peace

  • From Us

  • And blessings upon you

  • And blessings upon you

  • And upon nations from among those with you

  • And nations We will grant enjoyment, then a painful punishment will touch them from Us

  • Meaning, people will return once again to disbelief and polytheism

  • And the punishment will come to them once again

  • Those who delivered the heavenly books to humanity

  • What is the sun compared to the light of prophethood? What is the moon?

  • So follow in their footsteps

  • And faith

  • And they began to inhabit the earth

  • Once again

  • And Noah, peace be upon him, performed Hajj

  • With the people of faith at that time

  • To Makkah with his children

  • And he remained for a period

  • Of time

  • Until arrived

  • His death

  • The death of whom?

  • A prophet and a messenger.

  • He spent his time calling his people,

  • A thousand years less fifty years.

  • Now the hour of death has come.

  • It was said to him: O Noah,

  • How do you see the world that you spent in it?

  • He said: It is like a house with two doors,

  • I entered from one door and exited from the other.

  • Did you see the one who lived long?

  • These long centuries,

  • He says: It is as if I entered from a door and went out from a door.

  • So when his death approached,

  • He called his three sons,

  • The people of faith:

  • Sam,

  • The eldest, this one,

  • Ham and Japheth.

  • He began to advise them,

  • And the first thing he advised them with was monotheism,

  • Because polytheism had occurred among his people,

  • And for this he feared

  • For his sons,

  • So he advised them with monotheism,

  • And he said to them: O my sons,

  • If the heavens and the earth

  • And what is between them were on one side of a scale,

  • And there is no god but Allah

  • Were on the other side, there is no god but Allah would outweigh them.

  • And he said to them: If the heavens and the earth were a ring, there is no god but Allah would have broken them.

  • He began inciting them and reminding them of monotheism

  • and of the worship of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, until Allah, the Exalted, caused him to pass away

  • And Noah called out to Us

  • a call that was answered

  • Allah drowned the people of the earth by his call

  • And Noah called out to Us

  • and excellent are the ones who answer

  • And We saved him and his family from the great distress

  • And We made his descendants

  • Of his descendants? Three

  • And We made his descendants the remaining ones

  • Meaning all people

  • the people of faith who were present

  • Whatever

  • their descendants lived

  • their lineage was cut off

  • All people

  • their lineage remained from the lineage of Noah

  • Just

  • the three

  • Shem, Ham, and Japheth

  • from them a second time

  • humanity

  • multiplied

  • meaning me and you

  • me and you

  • you see we

  • one of our forefathers

  • either Shem or Ham

  • or Japheth

  • And Noah, peace be upon him,

  • is our father, of course.

  • Noah is our father,

  • because all of humanity was cut off.

  • None remained except the offspring of

  • Noah, peace be upon him.

  • And We made his offspring

  • And We made his offspring the survivors.

  • And We left for him among the later generations,

  • Peace be upon Noah.

  • Peace be upon Noah among the worlds.

  • Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good.

  • Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.

  • How great a story it is!

  • The people of the earth remained after it for a period of time

  • upon faith and monotheism.

  • And they spread out in the lands,

  • and they went into the Arabian Peninsula.

  • Each one of the sons in a place,

  • and they multiplied and procreated.

  • So did they remain upon monotheism?

  • No.

  • Iblis returned to them once again,

  • and he led them once again into polytheism.

  • But in which of the nations,

  • will Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, tell us its story once again?

  • They are the best of what the God created and brought forth.

  • They were lamps of guidance for mankind.

  • How much of a lesson was in their news

  • for the people; it was not a fabricated story.

  • Who delivered the heavenly books to humanity?

  • What is the sun compared to the light of prophecy, what is the moon?

  • So stand upon their traces and weigh by them

  • your deeds and draw lessons from them.

  • They are the prophets of God and the honorable people,

  • and those who followed them were guided to the paths of peace.

  • May the prayers of the Lord of the worlds be upon them,

  • and His peace, as many as those who prayed and fasted.
