هُمْ خَيْرُ مَنْ خَلَقَ الْإِلَهُ وَمِنْ ذُرَى

They are the best of those whom God has created, and from the heights

كَانُوا قَوَامِيسَ الْهِدَايَةِ لِلْوَرَى

They were dictionaries of guidance for humanity

كَمْ كَانَ فِي أَنْبَائِهِمْ مِنْ عِبْرَةٍ

How much of a lesson there was in their news

لِلنَّاسِ مَا كَانَتْ حَدِيثًا

For the people, it was not a story

يُفْتَرَى مَنْ أَوْصَلَ كُتُبَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْبَشَرِ

To be fabricated, those who delivered the books of heaven to mankind

مَا الشَّمْسُ مِنْ نُورِ النُّبُوَّةِ مَا الْقَمَرُ

The sun is not from the light of prophecy, nor is the moon

فَقِفُوا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ وَزِنُوا بِهَا عَمَلَكُمْ

So stand upon their traces and weigh your deeds by them

اسْتَلْهِمُوا مِنْهَا الْعِبَرَ

Draw lessons from them

هُمْ أَنْبِيَاءُ اللهِ وَالْقَوْمُ الْكِرَامُ

They are the prophets of God and the honorable people

وَالتَّابِعُونَ

And the followers
