هُمْ خَيْرُ مَنْ خَلَقَ الْإِلَهُ وَمَنْ بَرَى

They are the best of those whom God created and fashioned

كَانُوا قَوَامِيسَ الْهِدَايَةِ لِلْوَرَى

They were the dictionaries of guidance for humanity

كَمْ كَانَ فِي أَنْبَائِهِمْ مِنْ عِبْرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ مَا كَانَتْ حَدِيثًا

How many lessons for people were in their accounts, which were not a fabricated tale

يُفْتَرَى مَنْ أَوْصَلَ كُتُبَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْبَشَرِ

Whoever delivered the books of heaven to mankind

مَا الشَّمْسُ مِنْ نُورِ النُّبُوَّةِ مَا الْقَمَرُ

The sun and the moon are nothing compared to the light of prophecy

فَقِفُوا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ وَزِنُوا بِهَا

So stand upon their traces and weigh by them

أَعْمَالَكُمُ اسْتَلْهِمُوا مِنْهَا الْعِبَرَ

Your deeds, be inspired by them with lessons

هُمُ أَنْبِيَاءُ اللهِ وَالْقَوْمُ الْكِرَامُ

They are the prophets of God and the noble people

وَالتَّابِعُونَ

And those who followed them

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
