هُمْ خَيْرُ مَنْ خَلَقَ الْإِلَهُ وَمِنْ ذُرَى

They are the best of what God created, and from the heights

كَانُوا قَوَامِيسَ الْهِدَايَةِ لِلْوَرَى

They were the dictionaries of guidance for mankind

كَمْ كَانَ فِي أَنْبَائِهِمْ مِنْ عِبْرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ مَا كَانَتْ حَدِيثًا

How much of a lesson was in their news for the people, it was not a story

يُفْتَرَى وَمَنْ أَوْصَلَ كُتُبَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْبَشَرِ

that is fabricated, and who delivered the books of Heaven to mankind

مَا الشَّمْسُ مِنْ نُورِ النُّبُوَّةِ مَا الْقَمَرُ

The sun and the moon are nothing compared to the light of prophecy

فَقِفُوا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ وَزِنُوا بِهَا أَعْمَالَكُمْ

So stand upon their traces and weigh your deeds by them

وَاسْتَلْهِمُوا مِنْهَا الْعِبَرَ

And draw lessons from them

هُمُ أَنْبِيَاءُ اللهِ وَالْقَوْمُ الْكِرَامُ

They are the prophets of God and the honorable people

وَالتَّابِعُونَ

And their followers

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
