praise be to Allah for the blessing of water,

whose purity has quenched the hearts,

and whose river has overflowed across the earth.

And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, having no partner,

a testimony whose mention is joined with eternity,

and whose covering is drawn down over mistakes.

And I bear witness that our Prophet and our Master Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger,

a testimony whose spreading encompasses the universe.

May Allah send blessings and peace upon him, and upon his family and his companions,
