الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْقَدِيرِ

Praise be to Allah, the Most High, the All-Powerful,

الْوَلِيِّ النَّصِيرِ

the Protecting Guardian, the Helper.

لَا مِثْلَ لَهُ وَلَا نِدَّ وَلَا نَظِيرَ

There is nothing like Him, no equal, and no peer,

وَلَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَلَا وَلِيَّ ذُلٍّ وَلَا ظَهِيرَ

and no partner has He, nor any protector out of weakness, nor any supporter.

لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

أَحْمَدُهُ سُبْحَانَهُ حَمْدَ الشَّاكِرِينَ

I praise Him, glorified is He, with the praise of the grateful,

وَأَشْكُرُهُ سُبْحَانَهُ شُكْرَ الذَّاكِرِينَ

and I thank Him, glorified is He, with the thanks of those who remember Him,

وَأَذْكُرُهُ سُبْحَانَهُ ذِكْرَ الْمُفَرِّدِينَ

and I remember Him, glorified is He, with the remembrance of those devoted singly to Him,

أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةً وَأَجْرًا عَظِيمًا

for whom Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, having no partner,
