إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ

Indeed, all praise is for Allah; we praise Him, we seek His help, and we ask His forgiveness,

وَنَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا

and we seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and from the bad deeds of our actions.

مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللَّهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ

Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide him,

وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ

and whomever He misguides, none can guide him.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, having no partner,

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ

May Allah send blessings upon him and upon his family and his companions,

وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيمًا كَثِيرًا أَمَّا بَعْدُ

and give abundant peace. As for what comes next:

فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ حَقَّ التَّقْوَى

Fear Allah, servants of Allah, with the fear He truly deserves,

وَرَاقِبُوهُ فِي السِّرِّ وَالنَّجْوَى

and be mindful of Him in secret and in private talk.
