السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً

O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women.

وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا

And fear God, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed God is ever, over you, an Observer.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا

O you who have believed, fear God and speak words of appropriate justice. He will then amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys God and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الْحَدِيثِ كَلَامُ اللهِ تَعَالَى

To proceed, the most truthful speech is the speech of God Almighty.

وَخَيْرَ الْهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

And the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.

وَشَرَّ الْأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا

And the worst of affairs are the newly invented matters.

وَكُلَّ مُحْدَثَةٍ بِدْعَةٌ وَكُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ ضَلَالَةٌ

And every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is a misguidance.

وَكُلَّ ضَلَالَةٍ فِي النَّارِ أَعَاذَنَا اللهُ وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ

And every misguidance is in the Fire. May God protect us and you from the Fire.

وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ وَعَمَلٍ

And from whatever brings one closer to it, whether in speech or action.
