الْآنَ نُوَاجِهُ الْمَشْهَدَ الْمَهِيبَ الْمُرْعِبَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

Now we face the awe-inspiring, terrifying scene of the Day of Resurrection.

بَعْدَ فَتْرَةِ الِانْتِظَارِ الَّتِي تَلَتْ نِهَايَةَ الْعَالَمِ يَرْتَفِعُ صَوْتٌ عَظِيمٌ

After the waiting period that followed the end of the world, a great voice rises.

لَقَدْ أَعَادَ اللَّهُ إِحْيَاءَ إِسْرَافِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

Allah has brought Israfil, peace be upon him, back to life,

وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِي الصُّورِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى

and commanded him to blow into the Horn once more.

"الصِّرَاطُ"

"The Bridge"

عِنْدَمَا يَنْتَهِي الْحِسَابُ

When the reckoning ends,

يُمَدُّ جِسْرٌ فَوْقَ جَهَنَّمَ وَيَمْتَدُّ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

a bridge is laid over Hell, extending all the way to Paradise,

وَعَلَى جَانِبَيْهِ خَطَاطِيفُ مُعَلَّقَةٌ

and on its two sides are hanging hooks,

كُلُّ خُطَّافٍ مِنْهَا مُوَكَّلٌ بِالْتِقَاطِ مَنْ أُمِرَ بِهِ

each hook of them entrusted to snatch whoever it was ordered to take.

"لَا!"

"No!"
