بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَصْعَدَ قَوَالِبَ الْأَصْفِيَاءِ بِالْمُجَاهَدَةِ،

Praise be to Allah, who elevated the bodies of the chosen ones through struggle,

وَأَسْعَدَ قُلُوبَ الْأَوْلِيَاءِ بِالْمُشَاهَدَةِ،

And made the hearts of the saints happy through witnessing [His glory],

وَحَلَّى أَلْسِنَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِالذِّكْرِ،

And adorned the tongues of the believers with remembrance,

وَجَلَّى خَوَاطِرَ الْعَارِفِينَ بِالْفِكْرِ،

And polished the minds of the knowers with reflection,

وَحَرَسَ سَوَادَ الْعِبَادِ عَنِ الْفَسَادِ، وَحَبَسَ مُرَادَ الزُّهَّادِ عَلَى السَّدَادِ،

And protected the masses of the servants from corruption, and confined the desire of the ascetics to righteousness,

وَخَلَّصَ أَشْبَاحَ الْمُتَّقِينَ مِنْ ظُلَمِ الشَّهَوَاتِ،

And freed the forms of the God-fearing from the darkness of desires,

وَصَفَّى أَرْوَاحَ الْمُوقِنِينَ عَنْ ظُلَمِ الشُّبُهَاتِ،

And purified the spirits of the certain ones from the darkness of doubts,

وَقَبِلَ أَعْمَالَ الْأَخْيَارِ بِأَدَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ،

And accepted the deeds of the righteous through the performance of prayers,

وَأَيَّدَ خِصَالَ الْأَحْرَارِ بِإِسْدَاءِ الصِّلَاتِ.

And supported the qualities of the free ones through the giving of gifts.
